Ho Chi Minh City, 06th of Feb. 2012, Viet Ba engineers have installed successfully the first digital radiography system with a flat panel detector at the Medical and Pharmaceutical University of HCMC. This system has been retrofitted into an existing X-ray system in order to create patients digital images and replaced the CR system. High quality and instant displayed digital images (about 3 seconds after x-ray exposure) make the TAT (tournament turnaround time) shortened, in order to contribute to the improvement on current overload situation at the hospital.

X-ray beam which is emitted by any X-ray machine, after taking over the part that is need to take image, will be received fully by the flat panel detector size 35 x 43 cm wide. The entire X-ray signal is converted directly into digital signals and transmitted directly to the CPU of a computer professional. XQ digital images began appearing on computer screen after about 3 seconds from the flat plate sensor receiving X-rays
